General
The CPX-15A is the largest and heaviest speaker from American Audio's CPX series. This 2-way speaker is bi-amplified and equipped with a class D amplifier that can send up to 500 W of power to the 15-inch woofer with its 75mm voice coil. As you can imagine, the result is thunderous, detailed, full audio. These speakers can also be used in a surprising variety of ways. Use it on a stand, on the ground, hang it from a truss (or in a bus?) or even use it as side-fill or as a floor monitor.
CPX-15A: mobile use
Because the CPX-15A was built with the mobile user in mind, American Audio equipped it with an ultra-rugged die-cast composite housing. It also features a robust steel grille for protecting the woofer and tweeter during transport.
Mixer
On the back of the American Audio CPX-15A you'll find a small integrated mixer, which allows you to connect an audio source and a microphone. Each of these have their own volume control, and there are of course also the master volume and master EQ. Thanks to these additions, the CPX-15A is an ideal choice if you're looking for a compact sound system for your church or auditorium.

Deze speaker overtreft mijn verwachtingen. Wat is dit een ongehoord kwaliteitsproduct!
Het geluid is krachtig en vol. Alles is goed in balans.
Deze speaker is zo degelijk gebouwd, dat het me niet zal verbazen dat je er met een tank overheen kunt rijden.
Op de voorzijde prijkt het logo van American Audio, dit is op de productfoto niet het geval.
Het gewicht en maten die Bax-shop aangeeft bij de specificaties zijn onjuist, deze zijn van de CPX-12a. De juiste maten zijn: 456mm x 390mm x 680mm. Het gewicht is 28kg. Misschien een idee voor Bax-shop om dit aan te passen?
Aanmerkingen.
Er komt wel een beetje basis-ruis uit de speaker, deze is niet meer hoorbaar als de muziek aanstaat.
28 kg is niet voor iedereen goed handelbaar en niet ieder statief kan dit aan.
Kortom een speaker van formaat, letterlijk en figuurlijk.
