We all know Yamaha as a producer of musical instruments, mixers, and other studio devices, and Yamaha has proven itself time and time again in the field of sound equipment. The DXR series is an outstanding example of this. You can easily connect and expand these speakers, and they also have a built-in 3-channel mixer.

The DXR 8: The smallest of the lot

The 8-inch DXR-8 is the smallest member of the DXR series. Even so, this active speaker can produce a big sound thanks to its two-way system. The speaker has a frequency range of 57Hz to 20kHz. You can easily set the display mode through the DSP processor, which is handy if you want to use the DXR-8 as a floor monitor or even a PA set. 

Use 

All speakers and subwoofers from Yamaha's DXR series can be combined. It's also possible to set the HPF values in such a way that you give high notes starting from a certain frequency an extra boost. This ensures extra harmony in the end mix of the sound. The compact dimensions of the DXR 8 make the speaker easy to transport.

Yamaha DXR 8 active speaker

Very, very pleased with my new Yamaha dxr8 PA system. For sound reinforcement for our jazz band it seems as close to perfect as I have found so far. Compact, reasonably lightweight, easy to set up, it is perfect for traveling musicians. Crystal clear sound, plenty of volume, lots of set up options make it perfect for anyone. Cannot recommend Yamaha DXR8 active speakers too highly.
