If you know even a little bit about sound systems, then you know how much a good subwoofer can make for an installation. The DVA S10DP is one such mighty subwoofer with a powerful 18-inch woofer, driven by a 1,000W amplifier. It's the perfect complement to your satellite speakers. With the optional hardware, it's also possible to integrate the subwoofer in a line array. Bass tones as low as 40 Hz are possible so you'll always have enough bass in your system.

DB technologies DVA S10DP: amplifier

A Digipro class D amplifier is responsible for the sound amplification, chosen for its ideal weight/power ratio. There's a crossover available for splitting the treble and bass, and it can be set at 90 Hz or 120 Hz. The filtered treble (without bass) can be linked through via the output, and the complete full-range signal can be looped through. When using multiple subwoofers it is also possible to create a cardioid setup via the optional DSS delay module. Moreover, this delay module is also handy for use with multiple subwoofers in a stereo setup. The DVA S10 DP is additionally equipped with peak and temperature limiters so the subwoofer won't be overloaded.

Connections and options

Just as we might expect from a professional subwoofer, this subwoofer provides ample connections to get the job done. The sound signal is driven via XLR cables and the power distribution is run via powerCon cables. It's also possible to loop multiple subwoofers with the powerCon input and output. With the optional fly hardware, you can also use the subwoofer in a line array, but it can just as easily be placed on the floor. You'll find a pole mount on the top for a distance rod.
