General

The ES1203 stereo speaker set by dB Technologies consists of 2 passive wooden line arrays and 1 active wooden subwoofer equipped with 2x 12-inch woofers. It's a powerful, compact stereo system with an intelligent DSP controller and the option to stack the line arrays. The sub is equipped with a Digipro G4, 2400-Watt peak amplifier and with the intuitive DSP controller, you can operate all the functions the on-board 5-channel digital mixer has to offer, including three different configuration modes (Mono, Stereo, Double Column) and two different steering modes (Far and Near). Configuring this system to the environment is a really just a few clicks away.

The dB ES1203 is easy to set up and configure thanks to its advanced graphic interface. The two passive arrays each contain 4x 4-inch mid-woofers with a unique design that boasts a better horizontal dispersion than other models on the market. Set up the array speakers in a stereo configuration (on stands or in brackets, sold separately) or stacked on top of each other in a mono configuration, comparable with a line array. To use the array speakers, connect one of them to the subwoofer and then link the rest. For even more options, there's a 5-channel on-board mixer with a mic/instrument channel, three mic/line channels and a stereo channel for Bluetooth devices.

Wrote the following about dB Technologies ES1203 All-In-One Stereo Speaker System (2,400W)

Onlangs bij Bax Music een voor mij tweede dB Technologies ES1203 all-in-one stereo-luidsprekerset 2400W systeem aangeschaft. Levering met een eigen vrachtwagentje dus geen haastige "pleur maar uit de bus" koerier. dikke + dus. Ik zocht de meest krachtige setup die in in mijn KIA Sportage (model 2016 >) kwijt kon samen met een Pioneer Opus Quad (in originele flightcase) en twee Ayra Compar kit's 2 lichtsets met statieven. Géén aanhanger of busje meer nodig, het is een hobby voor me. Afgelopen weekend voor het eerst met deze dubbel set gedraaid op een (schuur) feest met zo'n 150 gasten. Thema: feest muziek in de breedste zin. En de dB Technologies ES1203 presteerde prima, ondanks de verre van perfecte akoestiek. Ruim voldoende volume met als meest opvallende punt de prettige spreiding van het mid-hoog. In een ruimte van ±20x20 meter mooi egaal van voor naar achter en van links naar rechts zonder pieken en gaten in het volume in het frequentie spectrum. Nog pratende mensen voor de speakers op ruime hoogte, 8x 4" speakers per kant met akoestische lenzen - mini line aray per kant werkt uitstekend. De bassen zouden in een café of bar waarschijnlijk nog wat beter naar voren komen wanneer je de subs voor een harde wand zou zetten. De (uitgebreide) equalizer functie op de sets stond helemaal neutraal, op mijn Opus Quad bij 95% van de nummer ook! En klinken als een klok. Moet het nog wat steviger of in een grotere ruimte zou ik wat subs extra inzetten. Kortom; dik tevreden met de levering, de hanteerbaarheid en geluidskwaliteit van dit systeem!
