General

The Neumann Monitor Alignment Kit 1 is a worthy addition to your Neumann monitor set-up. The included KG 750 DSP subwoofer piles on the bass while the MA-1 measurement microphone and Automatic Monitor Alignment Software do the calibrating, outperforming separate subs by taking the acoustics of the room into account and making sure any reproduced lows, mids and highs reach your ears at exactly the same time. Meanwhile, the MA-1 measurement microphone registers the tiniest phase discrepancies and frequency response imperfections, which can then be corrected using the software before storing the results in the DSP unit of the sub.

Outstanding - matched this with my K&H o300s (yes it’s compatible) and not only is the sub now present and accurate but the detail in the speakers is vastly improved. Also, compared to my previous software room correction, vastly superior.

Impressionnant, en association avec des KH120 A et la correction MA1, tout s'éclaircit, le centre est vraiment précisément localisé, les aigus sont très présents à première écoute, mais mes mixages se traduisent dorénavant bien mieux sur d'autres systèmes. Surtout, je travaille plus rapidement pour arriver au résultat souhaité. La reproduction des graves est précise, il sont tenus, plus secs que sur d'autres subwoofers avec lesquels j'ai pu travailler. Le point à améliorer pourrait être la latence entre le moment où on bypass le sub management (ou la correction), difficile de comparer A/B en passant par une coupure sonore d' 1 à 2 secondes... Mais on s'y fait. Globalement très satisfait par ce produit et par sa correction DSP MA1, plus précise et que d'autre solutions logicielles (analyse des room modes et alignement de la phase du système monitoring)

De Neumann KH 750 is een geweldige subwoofer. Ik gebruik de KH 750 in combinatie met de Neumann KH 120 en de geluidskwaliteit van deze combinatie is van zeer hoog niveau. Zelf maak ik veel opnames op locatie van klassieke en jazzmuziek, evenals orgelopnames in grote kerken. Tijdens het mixen en masteren hoor ik nu pas echt goed wat er gebeurt in de subfrequentieregio.

Mijn studio is redelijk goed akoestisch behandeld, maar met de MA 1-alignmentkit hoor ik nu echt wat er in de opnames gebeurt. Na de kalibratie klinkt de set neutraal, zoals het hoort. Gelukkig is de kalibratiesoftware gebruiksvriendelijk.

Qua geluidsweergave komt deze Neumann-set dicht in de buurt van de B&W 803D4, die ik als hooft set gebruik voor de mastering.

Associé avec des Dynaudio Lyd 48, le résultat de la correction proposée par le MA1 est efficace.
La scène est plus précise, la cohérence entre caisson et enceintes est très bonne.
