TAD 12AY7/6072A highgrade: wide sweet spot

This TAD 12AY7/6072A doesn't offer as much output as your 12AX7 tubes, but delivers a more vintage feel. It increases the amount of headroom considerably for a much wider sweet spot, allowing you more control, good definition and a more detailed guitar sound. This preamplifier tube does not need to be matched and can be used in combination with any power amp tube.

Tube Amp Doctor, or TAD for short, has two new additions to their impressive lineup of amplifier tubes: the 12AY7/6072A Highgrade and the 12AY7/6072A Selected preamp tubes. These preamp tubes offer less gain than the standard 12AX7 tubes that virtually every modern tube amp is equipped with. Instead, they offer a beautiful vintage tone.
