Crown had already unleashed proper workhorses with their XTi series, but they completely re-invented the whole concept with their XTi2 series Next Generation amplifiers. The 4002 amplifier is a perfect specimen - a genuine powerhouse that weighs very little.

Powerful amplification in a compact housing

With a maximum power of 1,600 Watts per channel, the 4002 is nothing if not powerful, making it the perfect amp for even the most elaborate speaker stacks. And as it weighs only 8.4 kilos, you can easily mount a couple of them into a still-moveable rack!

More than just an amplifier

The XTi2 inherited an important feature of its predecessor: processing power. The processor too was re-invented and fitted with Peak Plus Limiters - among other things - to optimally protect your speakers.

Bonjour, j'ai pas mal d'années d'expérience en matière de sonorisation. Je connais la marque crown depuis plus de trente ans, j'ai eu pas mal de modèles différent, dont j'ai été toujours satisfait d'ailleurs. J'ai acheté cet ampli en décembre 2025 chez Bax Music. C'est mon deuxième amplificateur Crown XTI 4002, mon premier XTI 4002 a été acheté en 2013, et je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes avec cet amplificateur, c'est la raison qui ma poussé à racheter le même modèle. Je l'utilise dans une configuration Stéréo active, donc un XTI4002 pour les basses, et un XTI4002 pour les satellites.
Cet ampli est puissant, et avec une très bonne qualité de son, les possibilités de réglages sont assez complète, pour les plus exigeant, l'installation du logiciel (gratuit) est nécessaire; A ce sujet, je vous recommande l'installation de "Audio Architect" dans une version récente; En effet, la version plus légère "Band Manager 2.0" n'a pas eu la mise à jour permettant de reconnaitre les versions XTI à partir de 2020. L'installation de "Audio Architect" est simple, et dés qu'un ampli Crown XTI est connecté en USB, il est reconnu automatiquement par le logiciel, ensuite le paramétrage de l'ampli est relativement simple, équaliseur, Fréquence de coupure, délai, limiteur, etc.... On sauvegarde ensuite sur le PC, (et bien sur dans les emplacements mémoire de l'amplificateur) les différentes configurations.
Cette ampli est un très bon choix pour les amateurs exigeant, et même dans le cadre d'utilisation "Pro", il est assez léger (8,4kg), il n'est pas trop profond, son look est plutôt sympa, et les performances sont à la hauteur de la réputation de la marque Crown.
Je recommande complètement l'achat de cet ampli.
Commandé chez Bax Music, j'ai reçu cet amplificateur quelques jours après, très sérieusement emballé, donc en parfait état; De plus, le prix chez Bax Music est très intéressant.

Goede versterker. Is moeilijker in te stellen dan de xls series.
Heeft wel voldoende power voor mijn behringer b1800xpros.

Een leuke versterker. lekker licht. jammer dat er niet zo veel in te stellen valt zo op de versterker en dat het met de computer er aan zo ingewikkeld is dat je het maar niet zo maar even doet.
