General

This professional stereo amplifier is the big brother of the HPS-1500 and has a maximal output capacity of two times 1,400 watts at 2 ohms. The amplifier has a fast response and low distortion. Not only that, but it's equipped with a forced cooling system that ensures a low operating temperature. The HPS 2500 has a 41-step volume control per channel, an 8-step dB meter, a clip/limiter, protection and a bridge mode whereby you can see the status via the LED indicators at the front of the speaker.

As far as connections are concerned, the HPS2500 has two XLR inputs and two locking speaker outputs. Via the mode switch you can choose between bridge, stereo or mono. Bridge mode provides 1,500 watts of power at 8 ohms. All of these features come together to offer a speaker that is very well suited for professional applications in fixed installations or with touring.
