RCF SUB 708-AS MK3 18-inch Active Subwoofer

General

Part of the SUB 700 Series, the RCF SUB 708-AS MK3 active subwoofer packs 700 Watts of power and comes housed in a relatively compact unit. This bold bass bin peaks at 1,400W and is cut out for live sound, especially whenever having lots of headroom is more than welcome. The SUB 705-AS is driven by a class-D amplifier and is capable of reaching 129-131dB sound pressure levels - the kind you'll not only hear, but feel.

Selectable Stereo Crossover Frequency

This 18-inch active sub can be teamed up with 8 or 10-inch speakers and features a rear control panel fitted with volume, EQ, polarity and delay controls. In addition, you're set up with a stereo crossover for optimum frequency range separation and properly balanced, fully dynamic sound.

Electronic Equalising and Soft-Limiting

The built-in electronic equalizer comes with two selectable presets in the form of a low-pass filter (from 80Hz) and a high-pass filter (from 110Hz), while the integrated soft limiter ensures a smooth transition when going from an unlimited to a limited signal. Last but not least, RCF have built in protection circuits to counter overheating and clipping.
