If you want your gigs to sound grand, even at small-scale locations, the Alto Pro Zephyr ZMX862 live mixer is the right PA tool for you. The mixer features two microphone inputs with balanced TRS inputs and a 3-band equalizer, as well as two stereo channels and two tape outputs that enable you to connect a CD player or an MP3 player.

Solid design
The ZMX862 has an attractive design and a solid black housing that keeps its components safe from harm. The knobs feature a different colour per section, which means you can also easily operate the mixer under poorly lit circumstances. An LED indicator displays the outgoing volume, giving you total control over your outgoing signal.

Zijn geld meer dan waard.
Wel een groot nadeel zijn de kantelfrequenties van de equalizer.
De regeling voor laag zou een kantelfrequentie van 80Hz moeten hebben maar regelt tot voorbij 800Hz nog duidelijk waarneembaar mee. Hetzelfde probleem bij de regeling voor hoog. Daar blijkt de 12KHz regeling ook frequenties onder de 2KHz nog flink te beïnvloeden.
Dit maakt de equalizer eigenlijk onbruikbaar bij instellingen boven de 0dB. Voor mij persoonlijk niet erg maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden bij aanschaf.

Ik gebruik de mixer bij het geven van danslessen. 2 headsets worden aangesloten en een ipad. Bij verschillende locaties was het altijd een issue dat ik teveel aansluitingen nodig had. nu heb ik maar 1 simpele aansluiting nodig en de rest regel ik zelf.
Ander groot voordeel, een ipad heeft een laag uitgangs signaal. Met deze mixer kan ik het signaal verhogen. Ook het aansluiten van de cue (voorluisteren via koptelefoon) via deze mixer (hier komt het stukje creativiteit van pas) kan ik nu optimaal benutten en bovenop dat alles hou ik de optie over om nog een extra signaal (iphone ofzo) te kunnen regelen.
Een aanrader dus!

Goede klank en geen hinderlijke ruis.
Ziet er overigens ook nog eens goed uit ook.

Het nadeel is dat er geen uitgebreide toonregeling op zit.
Vandaar de aanschaf van dit kleine maar zeer goede mengpaneel.
Heb hem nu 2 dagen in huis, en bevalt mij zeer goed.
Perfect geluid zonder bij geluiden, en goed in te stellen met de equalizer.
Een must voor elke hobby muzikant.
En een prijs waar je niet over na hoeft te denken om dit mengpaneel aan te schaffen
