General
The 4-channel DI4 by DBX has been designed for a variety of audio applications. It effortlessly converts unbalanced signals to four channels with a balanced signal for use with things like mixers, PAs and recording equipment. The DI4 also functions as a multi-channel stereo mixer. The volume and panning of each input signal can be mixed into a single stereo output signal for the RCA connectors found on the rear. A headphone socket is also on board.

Ik zocht een kleine platte mixer met in- en uitgangen aan de zijkanten (dus niet bovenop) om twee toetsenborden te verbinden met speakers. Ik wilde geen faders, en geen knoppen voor eq of andere mogelijkheden, alleen per kanaal een volume knop en een knop voor panning. De DBX D14 biedt dit. De geluidskwaliteit vind ik uitmuntend.

Degelijk. Mix mogelijkheid en monitoring (ook via hoofdtelefoon) mogelijkheid zie je niet vaak bij DI boxen. Dus kopen maar!

enig nadeel geen link out voor door te linken naar een gitaar amp.
Deze di box is beter te gebruiken in een opname studio dan op het podium.
