Behringer XENYX QX1002USB PA mixer

Behringer XENYX QX1002USB PA mixer

English review, het spijt me!

I bought this unit to stream live music on the internet while using the internal audio effects (reverb, delay etc). It's a good product for its price and i highly recommend it for those who are seeking a cheap mixer for amateur use (radio podcast, simple recordings). However if you want to record with higher quality i would suggest to buy an audio interface and combine them with a DAW (digital audio workstation) to get much better quality.
The product came in perfect condition as expected from bax-shop.

Pros.
Good touch on knobs and fader.

Sturdy construction,does not feel cheap.

Good bank for the buck.

Many effects that will make you spend some time figuring which ones you like.

Cons
No power switch off button , you will have to either pull out the usb cable or power cable , every time.

The mixer gets so hot below the phandom power/led area that i thought its a bad product, however reading reviews from other people state the same problem(i tried to raise the top of the mixer to give it more air flow).

You are not able to record and monitor yourself at the same time , that of course depends on your use , but if you are trying to do both at the same time , this mixer is not for you.You also cant hear media(i.e your computers music/video) while monitoring your voice.

You can only use 1 effect at the time for your channels.Example : you connect a Guitar and a Microphone and want to use reverb for your voice and delay on your guitar, you cannot do that!! You either choose delay for both voice/guitar or reverb voice/guitar , however you can control the 'amount' of effect(fx knob)
you send to your line in/xlr inputs(i.e guitar/mic).
