If you want to use a mixer for live gigs, you need to know you can depend on it. As such, you're typically not going to want to go too cheap when it comes to this kind of investment. Luckily, with the GB2R mixer, Soundcraft proves that you don't have to break the bank for a good mixer. As you've come to expect from Soundcraft products, this mixer is made of high-quality materials. You'll have sixteen mono channels at your disposal, each with XLR inputs and 1/4-inch jack inputs. Thanks to line outputs, you can immediately send the incoming signal to a recorder.
The mixer can easily be mounted in a 19-inch rack. It also utilises high-pass filters to filter out all the tones that are below 100 Hz. This makes sense for microphones, as vocals don't produce such low tones. This way, you're guaranteed that only unwanted noise is filtered out. The mixer features GB30 preamplifiers, which are generally only used for much more expensive models. All in all, this is the best choice if you want to mix during live gigs without a care in the world.
