Soundcraft has gained many years of experience in producing high-quality mixers. During the past 30 years, the brand has released top-shelf products. With the GB8, it seems as if the brand has reached a point where the quality can't get any better for this price, which is quite a compliment for Soundcraft. The GB8-32 features 32 microphone channels, allowing you to easily amplify an entire band. All microphone channels have a send which makes it possible to send the signal directly to a recorder.
The mixer has eight subgroups that each have their own fader. It's also possible to link the channels, so that you can boost or mute an entire drum kit with just one fader. Most mixers in this price range wouldn't have the build quality of this model. This mixer has a sturdy construction and a fully metal housing, so it will be able to take a hit. All the mixer's components have such high quality that you'll enjoy this mixer for many years to come.
