The Arturia Audiofuse X8 IN is an 8-channel AD converter equipped with ADAT outputs, making it a great solution if you're looking to expand your audio interface with 8 additional line inputs so you can hook up all of your analogue synths or other gear. The dual ADAT output also supports the maximum sample rate that the ADAT protocol allows for, meaning you get to record in 96kHz instead of the standard 48kHz. The ultra-compact Audiofuse X8 IN takes up just half a rack unit in width so, using the included racks, you can actually mount two units next to each other. You could also mount one next to an Audiofuse X8 OUT for bi-directional signal routing.

Goede converter voor de prijs. Erg verrassend ook hoe solide dit apparaat voelt. Geheel van metaal gemaakt. Het aansluiten was erg makkelijk en het werkte meteen. Ik was bang dat de converters niet goed genoeg voor me zouden zijn gezien de prijs maar ze klinken goed! Vergeleken met mijn high end mastering converter hoor ik natuurlijk wel verschil maar hier zou ik me geen zorgen over maken. Voor opnames met name van synthesizers in mijn geval is het meer dan voldoende. Een mooi gefocust geluid. Precies wat ik nodig had.
