General
To give you the ability to route an enormous variety of analogue and digital connections, Ferrofish came up with the Pulse 16 DX. This intelligently designed piece of audio technology not only supports standard analogue signals but all MADI, ADAT and Dante ones you wish to throw at it. The analogue side of things is covered by 16x16 balanced TRS inputs and outputs while the digital section includes 64-channel MADI I/O and 2x 4 ADAT ports that are able to converter 16 analogue channels to 96 kHz. On top of that, the Pulse 16DX even offers 64x64 Dante/AES67 channels! For flawless synchronisation with the gear in your set-up and remote control, this comprehensive converter features Word Clock and I/O and boasts several functions taken from Ferrofish's flagship, the A32, including preset management, panel lock and an advanced routing matrix. Since there are no cooling fans inside, the Pulse 16DX is nice and compact and doesn't make any noise while on the job. All in all, you could say it's the Swiss army knife of studio and live converters.
