Although most audio plugins are rather general, Nectar is specifically intended for vocals. In other words: you can leave your guitar recordings with a different plugin, but iZotope's Nectar 2 Production Suite audio software will take perfect care of your vocals. This package offers you a wide range of tools to improve your vocal recordings. It's great for audio engineers, composers, producers, remixers, post-production facilities, voice-overs, podcasters, and many more. The plugin works as AAX, RTAS, VST, VST3 and AU, and effortlessly works with any modern DAW.
Features of iZotope Nectar 2 Production Suite
Thanks to the new harmonizer and intelligent automatic settings, you're just a few mouse clicks away from rich vocal ensembles. However, you can also choose to play your harmonies yourself with your own MIDI keyboard. During the time that studio reverb was still produced by means of metal plates, a speaker, and microphones, the EMT 140 was a famous plate reverb. You can now emulate this classic with Nectar 2 by modelling. Prepare yourself for some spacious sound with an incredibly sweet character!
Other effects
Nectar 2 is fitted with a new pitch control and Breath Control - this allows you to get the intonation of your recordings to a commercial level. You're assisted by effects like distortion, phaser, flanger and chorus, and you'll also have compressor, gate, saturation, reverb, and delay at your disposal. The best thing about it all - it's just an excellent iZotope product as you've come to expect from the brand. No complicated terms, no complex interface: this package lets you work quickly and efficiently. If you don't feel like programming yourself, you can always draw from the 150 high-quality presets.
