General

Made to handle high-output instruments such as guitars and basses and offer masses of headroom, the SE Electronics DM3 has a high impedance and a space-saving mini housing. This active DI box features a PAD switch so it can handle more extreme loads and has not only been equipped with a 3-step ground lift function for eliminating noise, but an ON+ setting that counters ground loops as well as RF interference. Between gigs, this ultra-compact DI box can be safely hung up in your tool box thanks the included jack key ring.

Wrote the following about SE Electronics DM3 Active DI Box

Een DI moet goed zijn. Dat staat voorop. In de verschillende reviews (en door SE zelf ook) wordt het "a beast of a DI" genoemd. Het is gewoon een erg goede DI. De extra positie 0+ functioneert top. Het geeft echt meer stilte in het signaal. Het is een erg compacte DI. Samen met de kwaliteit is dat voor mij de reden geweest om deze DI te kopen.
De verzonken schakelaars zijn een nadeel. Die kan je alleen met een bijgeleverde minischoevendraaier (Onding! Die raak je zo kwijt) of een ander scherp voorwerp omzetten. Niet handig, vooral als er weinig licht is. Dat had denk ik wel op een andere manier opgelost kunnen worden. Verder kan je wat van de kleur en tijgerprint vinden. Ik vind het niks! Maar goed. Ondanks dat doet deze DI goed zijn werk.
