The Sequential Prophet XL is a sample-and-synth hybrid synthesizer and can be distinguished from the mothership of the Prophet X Series by 76, weighted keys. You can count on that same combination of 150 GBs worth of high-fidelity samples and the potent synthesis capability that the Prophet X is so loved for. The marked bonus here is the outstanding response and playing quality offered by the Fatar keyboard.

The Prophet XL: Improved Sound Engine

The sound engine of the Prophet XL has undergone significant, Sequential-style improvements. As such, this hybrid synthesizer is now capable of 32-voice polyphony when one sample instrument and one oscillator is used: a mode that opens up and has more options when an acoustic piano, an electric piano or another instrument is used. In short, with the Prophet XL, Sequential gives you all the tools you need to let that creativity run free.

Wrote the following about Sequential Prophet XL Hybrid Synthesizer with 76 Keys

Received this fast, in the timeframe stated 48 hours, which is impressive in this crazy time. I am only just getting to know this beast of a synth, so far I seem to just be getting lost in a world of crazy sounds and twisting a lot of knobs, oh and the the gliders, are excellent didnt think Id enjoy them as much as I do. It is going to take some time to really get to know what this is capable of.
