General

Turn your one-channel guitar amp into a versatile three-channel machine, with the Blackstar LT-Dual! You see, this stompbox is a distortion pedal with two independent channels. Channel 1 is a clean channel which is very good to use as a boost, for your guitar solos, for example. Also, the first channel features a crunch mode, and channel two delivers that coveted high-gain distortion.

Blackstar LT-Dual: two versatile channels

Channel one takes you from crystal-clear tube clean to clean with an edge. Push the crunch button and you're in blues and rock territory. Channel 2 starts where the first channel left off and moves to super crunch to a ferocious rip with more distortion than you'll ever need. Both channels have their own gain and volume controls through two stacked dual potentiometers. Other controls include Tone and Blackstar's patented ISF control. This changes the character of the distortion from British (like Vox and Marshall) to American (like Fender and Mesa Boogie) and everything in between. Despite its extensive sound palette, the LT-Dual is surprisingly simple and intuitive to use. So you'll have created a professional sound in no time.

Robust

Like all Blackstar pedals, the LT-Dual is robust and solidly built. It has an aluminium body and knurled metal knobs. Also special about this pedal is the presence of a clipping circuit that approximates the sound, response and compression of a tube-driven pedal. Its compact housing makes this pedal perfect for adding to your pedalboard. For power, you can use a 9 Volt battery or power adapter.

Really good distortion pedal, being dual channel means you can get lots of different tones out of it.

Ive set it up so i can tweak the distortion using the pots on my guitar as well as switch the channels on and off

Off - always clean

Ch1 - can be from a slight crackle to a nice heavy distortion

Ch2 - MORE distortion and can also be used as a boost for solos using the levels on the pedal...

Can be powered by battery or standard effects pedal power, there's a battery (not connected) already supplied with the pedal too, it's in the battery compartment

Het is een Handige Pedaal,omwille van zijn switch modus. De pedaal heeft vooral een warme klank, perfect voor blues, bluesrock en alternative Zou het wel niet gebruik hardrock, Metal, hardcore,..
