General

The Halo Andy Timmons Dual Echo is a highly versatile effects pedal teeming with various DSP-driven delays, including the mysterious Halo Delay and tap tempo. With this stereo delay pedal, creating unique soundscapes instantly becomes a whole lot easier.

Flexible Multi-Delay

Thanks to the powerful built-in DSP, this pedal is able to put no less than five different delay effects at your disposal: Quarter Note, Dotted Eighth, Halo, Bucket Brigade, and Multi-Tap Tape Delay. Each of the five controls of the Halo Andy Timmons can be used to tweak two different parameters of the selected effect to create a unique delay, but the pedal also doubles as two delay pedals since you're free to create and store your presets to channel A and B, where toggling between both is made easy by the two fitted footswitches which also feature a built-in tap tempo and hold/freeze function.

Enough Inputs and Outputs

The Keeley Halo Andy Timmons fully supports stereo sound and comes equipped with two jack inputs and two jack outputs. It doesn't stop there, however, because Keeley have also fitted two separate footswitch inputs for channel A and channel B, plus an external expression output. Want massive tone? Simply send the signal out to two different amps or speakers!

Fijn pedaal wat niet mag ontbreken op je pedalboard met name als je op zoek bent naar de sound van Andy Timmons maar niet alleen daarvoor. Het is gewoon een te gek delay pedaal. Ik gebruik hem zelf in combinatie met de Nano Cortex van Neural DSP. Hou er rekening mee dat dit pedaal niet goed werkt met Neural Captures die overdrive of distortion bevatten als je dit pedaal voor de Nano Cortex plaatst. Met cleane capture geen probleem maar bij voorkeur plaats je dit pedaal achter de Nano Cortex voor het beste resultaat. Best prijzig toch en voor het beste resultaat ben je toch min of mee aangewezen op stereo output.

Super fijn pedaal met prachtige geluiden. Ik kon er niet mee stoppen, 4 uur achter elkaar gespeeld. Heerlijk, vooral in stereo. Even wennen hoe de instellingen werken, maar er is veel mogelijk en toch eenvoudig als je het eenmaal weet.

Delay's..., ik heb er door de jaren heen aardig wat gehad, De Delayla (Carl Martin), TC Nova, Strymon El Capistan, TC Flashback en Alter Ego eeva. Ik heb nog steeds de Neunaber Echolon, zeer goed pedal.

De Keeley Halo Andy Timmons Dual Echo delay is een aparte. Veelal denken fabrikanten niet goed na over het gebruik op het podium. Teveel knoppen die makkelijk kunnen verdraaien of ingangen die te dicht op elkaar zitten.

TC heeft er b.v. al jaren een handje van om zwakke in/out put pluggen te maken, je kabel ‘vliegt’ er zo uit.

Keeley Halo; ik heb er nu 1 gig mee gedaan en moet zeggen ‘fijn ding’! De geheugens maken dat als je ook zingt het gemakkelijk schakelen is. Ook tap tempo werkt goed.

Veel mogelijkheden die redelijk makkelijk te programmeren en op te roepen zijn.
De Andy Timmons echo houd het midden tussen echo en galm mede door de gecompliceerde weerkaatsingen.

De behuizing is degelijk al had ik graag gezien dat de knoppen wat minder zouden uitsteken en iets wijder uit elkaar geplaatst. Heb je dikke schoenen dan kun je wel makkelijk de twee schakelaars raken wat soms de bedoeling is.

Minpunt: het stereo effect valt tegen.

J'utilise depuis longtemps le Delay Boss Dm2W Série Waza et j'en suis super content, simple en réglages, un super switch custom qui apporte beaucoup. En parallèle de cette pédale, j'ai eu aussi la TC Electronic ND-1 Nova Delay, pédale très intéressante, beaucoup de possibilité mais à un peu trop complexe pour moi, on passe à coté du jeu! donc vendue. Et puis on se remet en quête d'un nouveau delay, un delay qui permet de plus "voyager" avec plus de possibilités que sur la Boss Dm2W. La Keeley HALO est peut encombrante, 4 banques de 2 presets intéressants et la possibilité de créer ses propres presets simplement. Coté son : C'est Génial, même en sortie uniquement mono. Cette pédale est un vrai investissement mais elle vaut le détour. Essayer c'est l'adopter! Attention, cette pédale fonctionne uniquement en 9V DC.
