Keeley's Compressor Plus effects pedal is a high-quality device designed to add compression, limit and sustain to your guitar sound. The brand are convinced this Compressor Plus is better than anything they've produced, as it always ensures a top sound that cuts through the mix!
Compressor Plus: for every guitar
Because every guitar pickup is different and you don't want to continually readjust your compressor while playing, Keeley have come up with the release function that has a single coil and a humbucker mode. With the tone control, you can emphasise certain frequencies that would otherwise get lots in the compression and with the blend control, you can have your original guitar sound come through loud and clear.
Sustain for days
You can also use the Compressor Plus as a sustainer by adding more gain when the signal becomes weak, resulting in a low tone. This allows you to play smooth leads without a hitch that are sure to impress your audience. If you're after a complete, user-friendly compressor, then the Keeley Compressor Plus fits the bill!

Op zich natuurlijk een schitterend pedaal met de blend,decsustain etc., echter voor mij nét te weinig compressie. Daarom geretourneerd.

Getwijfeld tussen deze en de JHS Whitey Tighty. Uiteindelijk toch voor deze gegaan. Blend knop vind ik onmisbaar bij een compressie pedaal om iets van je originele attack te bewaren maar die hadden beide pedals. De extra Tone knob op de Keeley werkt echt goed en de sustain optie is net wat ik zocht. Pedaal is verder redelijk stil wat je mag verwachten als het door Keeley wordt gemaakt. Ook de optie om te kunnen schakelen tussen single coil en humbucker pickups werkt prima. Aanrader!

In de winkel vroeg ik naar een pedaal wat extra power/ toon/ sustain geeft. Er zijn zoveel compressors te koop. Een medewerker in Rotterdam adviseerde me de Keeley Compressor, een wat duurdere t.o.v. de andere pedalen op voorraad, maar geen spijt van! Mijn gitaren hebben veel meer expressie qua toon, "ze komen veel meer tot leven". Sinds vorige week een Les Paul erbij, die begint te kwispelen als ik het pedaal aanzet! Die gitaar is al fantastisch, maar met dit pedaal, wauw.

Top compressor. Hij is stil, heeft een neutrale (transparante) klank, en heeft de nodige knoppen:
- sustain voor de intensiteit van het effect
- blend om je onbewerkt signaal in te mengen
- level om het volume aan te passen
- tone om hogere frequenties terug in te mengen
- schakelaar met keuze tussen 2 attack instellingen: single coil & humbucker (humbucker heeft een snellere attack).
De pedaal is verder stevig gebouwd, heeft een mooi design, en je kan er een 9V batterij insteken als je wilt.
Het enige jammere aan de pedaal is dat hij geen 'attack' draaiknop heeft. De single coil/humbucker schakelaar geeft je al 2 zeer nuttige instellingen, maar wat meer controle had fijn geweest. Je moet ook de achterkant er af schroeven om een batterij te vervangen; niet praktisch voor wie liever niet aansluit op netstroom of een power supply.

Mooi pedaal, goeie klank, stil. Eenvoudig en duidelijk qua functies kan heel neutraal qua klankkleur maar Compressor Plus omdat ie net een beetje iets aan je sound kan toevoegen. Goed compact formaat, degelijk gebouwd. Top pedaaltje!

Lang getwijfeld om een compressor aan te schaffen voor gebruik met mijn Les Paul en SG in combinatie met het clean kanaal op de Marshall. Tot nu toe geen moment spijt gehad van deze toevoeging aan m’n pedalboard. Deze compressor met switch voor humbuckers is echt wel een meerwaarde voor de toch al mooie cleane sound van mijn Silver Jubilee. Ik gebruik de compressor ook vaak in combinatie met de Boss EG-7 voor cleane gitaarpartijen. Super aankoop!
