The Boss CS-3 Compressor Sustainer is a great tool that helps guitarists and bass guitarists produce that tight, solid sound they've always wanted. It compresses louder signals and boosts lower signals, resulting in smooth sustain without sacrificing any of the original sound quality.
This Boss pedal enables musicians to optimise the tone of their guitar or bass guitar. Using the CS-3's various knobs, such as Level, Tone, Attack and Sustain, you can really shape the sound of your instrument.

Ik heb in de loop der jaren diverse compressors geprobeerd, en soms zitten ze in een versterker ingebouwd, maar dit is de compressor waar ik naar op zoek was. Ruim voldoende instelmogelijkheden en met wat sustain er in gedraaid klinkt het helemáál geweldig.

Misschien wel de beste aankoop die ik dit jaar (vorig jaar...) heb gedaan! Doet precies wat het moet doen, geeft geweldige sustain en maakt legato een stuk makkelijker. Pedaal is stevig en van goede kwaliteit, kwam met een batterij erbij. Zeker een aanrader voor elke gitarist!

Ik heb meerdere compressors geprobeerd en ze allemaal terug gestuurd, maar deze mag blijven. Andere compressors gaven een heel erg onnatuurlijk geluid, al het gevoel werd uit de gitaar gezogen en er was niks meer aan. Maar deze is perfect, erg Gilmour achter geluid. Kan heel erg subtiel. Erg blij mee

Prima compressor/sustainer met veel instelmogelijkheden.
Ik gebruik hem o.a. voor mijn fretloze bas en dat geeft een zeer ruime sustain zonder bijgeluid.
Ook voor de gewone bas prima instellingen gevonden, mooi compact en puntig.

Levering was als vanouds correct en snel.

Ik gebruik dit pedaal in combinatie met de kickdrum van mijn TR-8 en ik ben positief verrast over het geluid wat er uiteindelijk uitkomt. Hij doet wat iedere compressor zou doen en dat doet hij heel goed!
