The only thing Marshall's Origin Series was lacking was a matching speaker cabinet. That's why the famed British brand now introduce the slanted, vintage-looking Origin212a packed with two Celestion Seventy-80 speakers. These can handle a maximum of 160 Watts of power at 8 Ohms and reproduce gut-punching mids and lows that you can lean on. Especially on smaller stages with a limited amount of space for your rig, this 2x12" cab is the perfect solution.

Deze Marshall cab is zeker een aanrader , zeker in combinatie met mijn Super City DEA200 amp !
Lekker scheurende metal klank....alsook clean klinkt hij super !!

Mijn eerste Marshall head & cab! En wat een beauty! Zeer fraai & luid genoeg voor mijn thuisgebruik.
Alweer een uitstekende service van BAX. Wegens de lange wachttijd van het cabinet overgeschakeld op een B-stock die voorradig was te Goes. De prijs was ondertussen al de hoogte in gegaan, maar alsnog geen uplift moeten betalen en zelf ook geld terugekregen omwille van "B-stock". Altijd een hele goeie service aan de telefoon en in de winkels te Antwerpen/Goes! Deze klant keert zeker en vast terug ... Thx!

Note en rapport avec le prix,

Le caisson semble costaud, relativement bien fini malgré quelques défauts esthétiques notamment sur la pose du tolex sur un angle, mais rien de bien méchant.

Niveau son, les seventy 80 sont un peu criard, mais ça se rattrape facilement en jouant sur les réglages de l'ampli.

En clean, le son est pur, claquant, équilibré dans l'ensemble, les basses ne bavent pas.

En crunch, c'est un peu harsh pour l'instant, mais je pense que ça va s'améliorer après rodage, et avec le temps.

Le bon côté, c'est qu'on peut avoir un son bien bright, même avec un double bobinage manche en poussant le tilt et la présence, et ne pas se casser les oreilles avec un simple bobinage chevalet, présence et tilt au tiers...

Je comptais les remplacer par des G12M, mais finalement, je vais leur donner leur chance, pour la polyvalence et le clean claquant.

Une etoile en moins car on peut trouver, au même prix, des 212 en greenback.
