General

Yamaha present the follow-up to the much acclaimed THR-10. The THR-10II desktop combo guitar amp is filled with a rich palette of tried and trusted tube-amp emulations. This mini-amp not only serves a heady selection of tones for guitarists but for bassists and electro-acoustic guitarists who also get a generous choice of amplified sound via Extended Stereo Technology. Further, this deceitfully small amp is fitted with specially designed Acoustic Mic and Bass Amp modelling shaped by Virtual Circuitry Modeling.

The THR-10II: Bluetooth, USB and the THR Remote App

To use a backing track to jam along to, simply link up a compatible device via Bluetooth and use the fitted Hi-Fi speakers of the THR-10II. Then, to add some texture and atmosphere to your tone, add one of the modulation effects and one of the echo or reverb sounds provided, then reign it in with the tap tempo and refine your tuning using the built-in tuner. This wee Yamaha amp can even be connected to a computer via USB and act as an audio interface for recording into a DAW. And, finally, if you want even more control over the parameters offered by the THR-10II, simply install the THR Remote app on your phone or tablet.
