The renowned British brand Audient has equipped the ASP880 with Class-A console mic preamps that deliver quality you'd normally expect from a device that costs three or four times as much. Since its release, the ASP880 has found a permanent home in thousands of professional studios. It boasts a detailed transparent sound and was designed by David Dearden, a design legend with an eye for detail and functionality.

For starters, this preamplifier is equipped with the best A/D converters in the world, made by market leader Burr Brown. You can be sure of the purest possible conversion of an analogue to digital signal. All you need to do is focus on your music, and the ASP880 does the rest. As well as 8 mic preamps and line inputs, the ASP880 also has two extremely accurate JFET DI inputs for an electric guitar or bass. Any unwanted low tones can disappear instantly thanks to the high-pass filters. For an optimal frequency response, this preamp offers best results with a ribbon mic, but it works with other microphones as well. Thanks to the durable metal housing and hand-made aluminium knobs, this device can handle just about anything in the studio or on the road!

J'ai commandé un B-Stock, le produit est arrivé comme neuf. Petite économie non négligeable.
Très bon pré-ampli neutre avec une bonne marge de gain.
Utilisé pour enregistré un piano demi-queue et chant pour la réalisation d'un teaser d'un récital dans les vignes.
Connecté en ADAT sur ma babyface RME en 48khz. 2 micro stick Slate Digital sur l'ASP pour le piano, le son est parfait. Pour le chant j'ai utilisé un ISA one Focusrite. Fonctionne bien aussi pour les claviers en entrée DI 1&2 pour le live avec le multipaire D25 sub connecté sur une table X-air 18 Berhinger.

très bons préamp. je suis tombé en panne au bout de quelques semaines, le service client a été au top (gestion, envoi, comm), depuis la répa tout va bien !

je ne peux comparer avec d'autre que le digimax FS ou MPAII de ART. c'est plus pechu et droit, les coupe bas variables partout super pratique , la construction est bonne , ça chauffe pas.
