It hasn't been long since the Focal Shape series was released; remarkably accurate studio monitor for high-end mixing. Meanwhile, Focal has expanded the series with the Shape Twin active studio monitor. The first striking thing about this monitor are the two subwoofers that allow for a little more bottom-end. Just like the previously mentioned Shape monitors, the Shape Twin features passive cooling radiators instead of airflow cut-outs. This practical monitor can be wall-mounted in a flat position, which could come in handy in smaller rooms.

Features of the Focal Shape Twin

The 1-inch tweeter in this Shape Twin is rather easy-going with its flexible sweet spot, and a complete frequency range from 40 Hz to 35 kHz with a 110.5 dB peak SPL is quite impressive. On the back, you'll find XLR and RCA connectors, an equalizer and mounting points for a (separately available) wall bracket.
