General

The Boss FV-50H is a high-impedance stereo volume pedal that can be used for many applications, but for guitars and guitar effects in particular. For full stereo functionality, it offers two 6.35mm inputs and two 6.35mm outputs. In order to work with keyboards and other line-level effects, you're better off with the Boss FV-50L instead.

A knob on the side of the FV-50H allows you to adjust the minimum volume level of the expression pedal. That way, you're able to go from zero or half volume to maximum volume with a single movement of your foot. The Tuner Out output always transmits a maximum signal, regardless of the pedal's position, making it the ideal connector for your tuner.

Prima pedaal , de instelbare volume draai knop geeft veel mogelijkheden. Ik gebruik het als laatste pedaal voor de versterker. Zo kun je de hoeveelheid gain/overdrive met de gitaar volume knop regelen en het totaal gitaar volume met het volumepedaal controleren.

Zeer net pedaal, geen metalen behuizing maar voelt zelfst met snelle swells vrij stevig aan.

De slag is niet heel groot zoals bij sommige pedalen maar dit is voor mij perfect, en groot genoeg. De manier van opkomen is ietwat direct, dus bij 20 á 30 procent begint je signaal op te komen, maar ik heb ontdekt dat als je de kabels omplugt van in en output(dus het signaal de output IN stuurt) dan verandert het opkomen naar een iets eerder beginstandje. Heel leuk dus.

Ik ben er tevreden mee!

De instelbare volume draai knop werkt bij mij zoals je zou verwachten, dus op standje 5 tot 7 een normaal signaal en bij solo indrukken voor een boost van zon 35% volume. (Gitaarversterker) Niet zoals bij serge in de review hieronder dus.

Zeer degelijk fabrikaat en nog in stereo ook.

Dit pedaal gekocht voor aansluiting op mijn basgitaar zonder ingebouwde elektronika. De bedoeling was om op normaal en verhoogd volume (voor solo) te spelen. De volume regelknop moet ik wel op "10" zetten. Het pedaal niet ingedrukt geeft dan met mijn basversterker een volume van 50%. Dit maakt dat ik voor een normaal basvolume het pedaal toch al halfweg moet zetten om de solo (bij ingedrukt pedaal) niet te hard te laten klinken. Het uiteindelijke volume dat je overhoud bij niet ingedrukt pedaal hangt uiteraard af van de ingangsimpedantie van de aangesloten versterker. Hoe lager de impedantie hiervan, hoe lager het volume.

In elk geval was dit een prima aankoop met prima levering door Bax.
