General

Based on an off-the-wall Fender guitar, the Squier Paranormal Series Strat-O-Sonic has the same 24.75-inch scale length as the exalted DVII but comes at a much more modest price. Built using a Stratocaster body made of okoume, this revived electric guitar comes with a compensated wrap-around bridge, a bolt-on C-profile maple neck and a perfectly matching, 12-inch fretboard radius for dependable tuning stability, masses of playing comfort and, of course, an immediately trusty feel.

The Strat-O-Sonic: Flexible Alnico Soapbar Single-Coils

The slightly punchy, mid-rich core sound of this Squier-made Strat-O-Sonic is amplified by two Fender-designed alnico soapbar single-coils, which offer ample definition while shaping richer tone than regular single-coil pickups. On top of that, you're looking at a push-pull volume pot that toggles between series and parallel mode as well as a push-pull tone pot that toggles between in-phase and out-of-phase sound, giving you more than enough options to sculpt signature tone.

Wrote the following about Squier Paranormal Strat-O-Sonic IL Vintage Blonde Electric Guitar

De Squier Paranormal Stratosonic is een prachtig afgewerkte gitaar! Duidelijk een wat betere Squier! Hij speelt ontzettend lekker en hij is een beetje raar. (Net zoals de hele Paranormal lijn van Squier!) n de goede zin van het woord trouwens! Het is een Stratocaster met veel invloeden van een Gibson. Erg lekker om mee te spelen! Doordat de Volume en de Tone knoppen uit te trekken zijn, kun je de elementen ook in serie zetten of uit fase. Dat geeft zoveel instelmogelijkheden voor verschillende sounds! Hele comfortabele houding en hals en in Vintage Blond ook echt wat bijzonders in de studio! Uit de doos vraagt de Stratosonic eigenlijk geen verdere afstelling al zou het zadel met iets minder speling kunnen (is op te lossen door onder de twee schroeven een stukje rubber of gum te duwen). Hij speelt direct goed en qua intonatie ook prima. En er is dus sprake van een meer dan goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding! Wat een toffe gitaar!
