General

With the Roland E-X10 keyboard, Roland put the high-spec quality of the E-Series within affordable reach and offer an instrument fully optimised for the beginner pianist. This model is essentially a smaller version of the E-X50 which came out a little while back, and while it is smaller, it still comes crammed with hundreds of sounds and more than 200 rhythms. Also, while beginner keyboards of the past tended to be a bit limited on polyphony (the number of notes you can play at the same time), this keyboard boasts a polyphony of 64, which is more than enough to get stuck into most piano pieces and songs. On top of all of that, the E-X10 features a complete library of built-in reverb and chorus effects so you can give your sound a big and spacious feel, and so budding concert pianists can fully train their fingers, the velocity sensitivity of the keys can be adjusted as needed.

Arrangeur d'entrée de gamme compact et assez facile à prendre en main. Les points à améliorer sont à mon avis, la lisibilité et le contraste de l'écran, la navigation dans les menus (une molette aurait était appréciée), le toucher des boutons qui ne répondent pas toujours rapidement notamment les flèches de la navigation, le son est un peu "métallique" et la tonalité des basses difficilement accessible, et les sons imitant divers instruments pas toujours fidèles.
