Three small microphones have been integrated into the design, opening up a range of recording configurations, including 90° and 120°, hypercardioid, mid-side configurations and even more. Meanwhile, the clear, full-colour menu screen displays all of your settings and options, and a built-in speaker accommodates quick recording checks. Une excellente refonte du H2n ! Le H2essential est une véritable réussite à tous les niveaux. Il est très complet : taille, écran couleur avec formes d'onde, différentes configurations d'enregistrement, réglage des niveaux de chaque entrée, bip de début d'enregistrement, marqueurs, entrée externe (avec ou sans Plug-in Power), fonction carte son... Seule petite contrainte : il est préférable d'avoir une bonnette anti-vent adaptée, sinon l'emplacement du bouton d'enregistrement peut se révéler peu pratique.
