The Crazy Tube Circuits Venus is a true tube overdrive in a compact pedal box. The design of this solid die-cast stompbox is based on all pedal and rack variants of the legendary BK Butler Tube Driver. The core sound of this overdrive pedal comes from a high-quality ECC832 tube, which is an equivalent mix of the popular ECC83 and ECC82 amp tubes, giving you unparalleled dynamics and tonal versatility. A 3-band EQ lets you fine-tune the tones of this Venus drive, while the bias knob allows you to fine-tune the amount of compression and saturation to your liking. Everything from a subtle clean boost or a blues-like crunch to a rich, saturated overdrive is at your feet with this. Every tone setting gives you that warm, harmonic layering that only a true tube circuit can deliver.

Thanks to the switchable line driver/buffer, your signal stays strong and clear anywhere on any pedalboard. Unlike many traditional tube pedals, which tend to be rather large and difficult to power, the Venus is designed for maximum compatibility: this Crazy Tube Circuits effects pedal fits effortlessly into most common settings and also works with a regular 9V DC power supply. Meanwhile, its internal voltage boost to around 15V DC fully mimics the behaviour of those classic tube overdrives. What's more, this drive pedal is also compatible with different tube types, allowing you to significantly adjust the sound character to your own taste. Une pédale inspirée du tube driver d'antan. Une très bonne création entre sons old school et contraintes modernes. Un poil chère mais à ce prix je m'éclate avec des sonorités genre Eric Johnson.
