The Crazy Tube Circuits Hi Power pedal isn't just any amp-in-a-box, but packs the legendary setup that David Gilmore used on Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' into one tight little stompbox. The Hi Power is basically a blend of two British-made ingredients: the potent Coloursound Power Boost pedal and the high-headroom rip and tear of a Hiwatt amplifier. The sonic options on offer here are near-unlimited but, to get a good idea of the quality of sound, just have another listen to the solos on Shine on you Crazy Diamond and Have a Cigar.

The Crazy Tube Circuits Hi Power: Pure Flavour

Over on the left, access is granted to an authentic reproduction of a Colorsound Power Boost or Colorsound Overdriver backed up by the original BC184 transistors. Flick the mini-switch to select either the 18 Volt Power Boost circuit or 9 Volt Overdriver circuit at your leisure. Over on the left, we have a fully analogue reproduction of the preamp and power amp response of a Hiwatt-style amplifier where the output can be toggled between the high-headroom of a 100 Watt amp and the lower headroom plus compression of a 50 Watt power amp.
