As soon as you wrap your hand around the trusted, C-profile neck, you'll feel a pleasantly rounded fretboard, which now has a slightly flatter 9.5 inch radius and slightly larger medium frets for swift bass lines while tuning stability and vibration transfer are ensured by a new Marcus Miller Heavy Mass Standard bridge, a bone string nut and a set of premium machine heads.

The Marcus Miller P7-4 Alder: From Classically Passive to Modern Active

From tastefully classic P-style tones to surprisingly jazzy and eclectically modern, this bass guitar packs it all. Of course, it all starts with the Marcus Super-PJ Revolution pickups, one of which gives you those coveted split-coil sounds in the mid position while the J-style single-coil at the bridge provides crisp cleans. Alternatively, you can flip the switch from passive and active to wake up the Marcus Heritage-3 18V preamp for an extra dose of sonically flexible horsepower. While in passive mode, you'll be able to shape your sound via the characteristic tone knob but firing up the electronics gives you access to the versatility of a 3-band EQ with a remarkably potent mid-sweep, making the Sire P7-4 Alder the backbone for any and all styles of music.
