Ibanez introduce the flagship model of the Signature Series: the GVB1006-AM Gerald Veasley. One of the most renowned bassists in the world of jazz and R&B, Veasley naturally demands a modern, fully decked-out instrument, top-notch playability and superb sound to match. For a start, the GVB1006-AM features a relatively short, 14mm string spacing to support nimble chord-work, as well as a hand-selected, Amber-coated maple top that does justice to the stunning graining of the wood.

Made in Japan Using Nothing But Premium Parts

The solid body of the Ibanez GVB1006-AM has been carved from alder and has been loaded with two Bartolini P45C pickups that prepare this extended-range bass for an enormous range of styles. Besides dynamic resonance, these pickups are known for covering a wide frequency range and have been wired up to an Aquilar OBP3 preamp so you can cut or boost your highs and lows, adjust the volume and the balance of the pickups, or toggle the mid-range frequency push-pull selector. Finished with an MR4 bridge and solidly-secured saddles for maximum resonance transfer and minimum interference, this Gerald Veasley signature bass comes including a durable hardshell case.
