General

The Evolution Orange Underdrive is the latest bit of pedal-based innovation that Mad Professor has added to their already-imposing line-up. This hand-made unit features a 3-band EQ so you can clean up your overdrive signal as needed, since simply lowering the volume is sure to muddy up your sound as the pedal drops the mids and boosts the highs and lows.

Cut 'n' Boost

The Evolution Orange actually brings a fresh approach to distortion. Normally, to get your signal to distort, it has to be boosted. The Evolution Orange Underdrive, however, does the exact opposite and works extremely well with vintage, single-channel amps that sound amazing when nudged into overdrive. Also, because lowering the volume to clean out any sonic clutter tends to darken the tone, Mad Professor have included an EQ control so you can dial in exacting sound while softening the sharper edges of your distorted signal with ease.
