Let's get right to the point. The Strymon Cloudburst simply produces some of the most beautiful ambient reverb sounds you've ever heard. There is no other pedal like it. Strymon proves that with one effects pedal, you can make your tone completely come alive in a musical way that will keep you enthralled for hours. What makes this stylish stompbox unique is the Ensemble switch, which allows you to add harmonically rich dimensions to your ambient reverb soundscape. In the forte (strong) setting, you can hear string-like pads swell under your guitar playing in a particularly organic and musical way. Hearing is believing!

Cloudburst: Compact & uncompromising

The Strymon Cloudburst offers a wide range of different reverbs; from natural-sounding small spaces to otherworldly soundscapes. This is easily controlled by one knob with the Decay, as turning this knob also adjusts numerous internal parameters. Another handy control is the Pre-Delay. This allows you to add time between your dry signal and the reverb for e.g. reverberant slap-back echoes or for creating nice swelling moments after notes or chords. As you would expect from Strymon, the Cloudburst is built from premium components for sublime sound quality.

Easy to use

You can integrate the Strymon Cloudburst into your rig in many ways. There is a mono/stereo option for both inputs and outputs. In addition, you can connect a separately available external expression pedal for control over the parameters, as well as the Freeze and Infinite modes. For example, you can hold the reverb trail and play over it. Infinite mode lets you keep adding layers endlessly. The Strymon Cloudburst also has MIDI functionality, such as the 300 MIDI preset slots for storing and recalling your favourite settings. Suitable external footswitches for the Cloudburst include the Strymon MultiSwitch Plus and MiniSwitch.
