General

Electro Harmonix' Triangle Big Muff Pi is a reissue of the legendary fuzz effects pedal. It produces the same sounds as the original version, but has a more compact housing along with modern features. The original was produced between 1969 and 1973 and is highly sought after by fans of rock music from this period. Famous guitarists like David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Carlos Santana and Steve Howe (Yes) were all renowned for using this effect back then.

The first version of the Big Muff was noted for its pointed sound and that's exactly what you get when you turn up the tone control. Turn the tone control down and you'll experience more '90s-like fuzz sounds that are perfect for styles like grunge and alternative rock. Electro-Harmonix fait très fort avec la réédition de ses fuzz mythiques au format nano.

Cette Triangle Big Muff Pi est incroyable !! Tant en rythmique qu'en solo on retrouve le son de légende. Ca ronronne, c'est crémeux mais pour autant ca reste précis.

Super pédale, un son qui déchire, chant comme un violon, un moteur qui démarre, un avion qui passe, parfait pour les solos en combinaison avec d'autre pédales comme un compresseur, chorus, flanger, digital delay. Je la recommande.

Fantastisch pedaal. Komen echt gestoorde geluiden uit. Er zijn een paar "sweet spots" op de tone-control. Ik weet alleen niet of het voor mij is. Gebruik hem nu een paar maanden en heb hem alleen bruikbaar gekregen voor leads. Hij is toch een beetje too much voor rhythm parts voor mij. Ik gebruik hem op een Fender Telecaster en het is zeker een interessante combinatie. Ik denk dat deze het ook heel goed doet op humbuckers, zelf niet geprobeerd.
Goede bouwkwaliteit etc. wat je gewend bent van EHX. Ik ga denk ik nog een paar andere checken want misschien is deze niet de muff voor mij.

Een must have voor liefhebbers van de muffs, dit kleine pedaaltje is bijzonder divers en zonder meer een van mijn favorieten, voor wat je eruit kunt halen spotgoedkoop, het zou verboden moeten worden. ;)
