General

The second most powerful model in the active Axeo range, the Devine Axeo 12A speaker is a little bigger than some full-range units, but that extra size brings some extra versatility. This speaker delivers enough power to support smaller vocal groups, mobile DJs and an array of other audio applications. The Axeo 12A is easily hooked up to everything from DJ controllers to PA mixers, but microphones can also be plugged in alongside audio players and the built-in Bluetooth receiver also supports wireless audio streaming, so you can decide how extensive you want your setup to be, depending on the situation. This active 12 inch speaker can also be combined with a subwoofer for even more power and even deeper bass.

The Devine Axeo 12A in Action

Thanks to the flexibility of the Axeo 12A, this model is a great pick for anyone who wants to start working with professional audio but has a limited budget. In action, the Axeo 12A delivers balanced and warm sound and enough volume to accommodate smaller spaces and venues, and the rig can also be expanded at any time by linking two speakers to one or two subwoofers so that, step by step, you can build a complete sound system. Inside, a 12 inch woofer has been teamed up with a compression driver that takes care of the trebles, while the built-in amplifier module delivers up to 390 Watts of power. Since this is an active speaker and features an on-board amplifier, it only needs to be plugged into mains power and then, you're free to connect your audio source of choice. When multiple audio sources are connected, a set of detailed volume and tone controls per channel have been mounted on the rear panel so everything can be balanced and mixed together without the need for an external mixer.

Built to Last

While the Axeo 12A is a larger model, a set of two can easily be loaded into the back of a normal car. The housing has also been fitted with three handles to ease loading and positioning, and the housing itself has not only been built to last, but has been finished with a robust front grille to protect the internal woofer and tweeter. A 35 millimetre stand flange has also been fitted on the base, so the Axeo 12A can be mounted on a speaker stand, slotted onto a wall bracket, or placed in a tilt-back position on stage to serve as a monitor.
