General

The Gallien-Krueger Fusion 500S is a portable, 500-Watt-strong bass amp head that combines classic, sought-after tube sound and modern technology. The 500S features three 12AX7 preamp tubes, one of which is dedicated to the overdrive channel, making it GK's first amplifier with tube-induced overdrive. Needless to say, you can expect rich-and-dynamic tone alongside plenty of ways to sculpt your new signature sound via backlit knobs with built-in push functionality for activating various filters and other tone-enhancing perks.

The Fusion 500S: Professional Build Quality

Like all Fusion S Series models, this bass amplifier boasts top-quality components that guarantee clean and consistent sound. Gallien-Krueger have equipped the amp with their famous 4-band EQ section, a voicings bump, contour and presence pots so you can accurately vary the warm, saturated sound of the preamp tubes until you get exactly what you were looking for.

Built-In FX Loop, Tuner Output and More

Besides commanding sound, the Fusion 500S features a host of welcome perks, including a dedicated tuner output, a built-in effects loop for hooking up your favourite stompboxes, an AUX input for plugging in a backing track player, and a headphone jack for private practice sessions. Wrote the following about Gallien-Krueger Fusion 500s 500W Bass Guitar Amplifier Head

On internet most bass amps nowdays are reviewd by slap bassplayers. I don´t understand why electric bass amps and the bass amp companys always present them through a slap player. I finally got to say this :)

Now on to the Gallien Kruger Fusion 500S. Is it Fusion music amp?. No it´s not.. it´s a modern really good bass amp with 3 preamp tubes with transitor power amp.

It can go from soft pop bass lines to Gojira without a doubt. The sound is open and you have the overdrive and you can instantly go from Cheer to Jimmy Bain. It really does the Bain thing good - pushed amp at high level. The thing is that you can cut the highs and lows in so many different ways is exellent for any recording or stage performance. A real modern work horse.

Gallien Kruger GK is expensive but on this level you get what you pay for. Exellent and keeper. i will use this for metal btw - W
