With a modern bass like the Cort A5 Plus FMMH, you not only get five strings, but the ability to toggle between active and passive sound. Featuring an open-pore finish, this electric bass guitar has mahogany wings, a flamed maple top and a 5-piece panga-panga neck, completing a neck-through construction that shapes maximum natural sustain.

The A5 Plus: Versatile Electronics and Quality Hardware

Cort has mounted two Bartolini MK1 Series soapbar pickups along with 3-band EQ controls, a blend pot and a passive/active switch, giving you a ton of tonal flexibility. Also, since the build of this Artisan Series model has been finished with quality Hipshot hardware, including UltraLite tuners and a TransTone string-through-body bridge, the intonation and tuning stability is fully up to snuff. High value for money guaranteed!
