Na lange tijd een focusrite saffire te hebben gebruikt, overgestapt op deze UR44C. Voor mij was de externe voeding een must, en minstens 2 goede pre-amps en minstens 4 uit. Deze interfafe biedt dat. Meerdere DAW's betekend ook meerdere ASIO drivers en ASIO 4 ALL was één van deze. De stuurprogramma's en het software pakket voor de Steinberg UR 44-C werden zonder problemen geïnstalleerd, MAAR na 3 blue screens in Windows 10, telkens na het starten van dspMixFx stel je je toch vragen.
Het heeft me wat tijd gekost om de dader te vinden ( ASIO 4 all ) maar uiteindelijk is het gelukt. De UR 44-C hangt ook liever aan een pc ZONDER usb 3.x hub er tussen. Blijkbaar loopt er bij sommige USB 3 hubs iets fout zodat de 44-C enkel maar in USB 2 modus wil werken.
Al bij al, na het oplossen van het probleem is dit een heel goede USB Audio interface.
De Mininova aangesloten op de HI-Z inputs (1 en 2), mijn Yamaha Keyboard op Line (3 en 4) en de Numark NV II op Line (5 en 6).
Dit geeft me de mogelijkheid om in DAW software te mixen wat ik maar wil.
Met dspMixFx kan je ook nog per kanaal effecten instellen en voor de gitaristen zitten er nog leuke effecten bij ook.
Zangers gaan de delay en reverb zeker eens willen uitproberen. Voor elk wat wils.
