General

The DAP CORE Scratch is a durable and highly accessible DJ mixer with two channels, four analogue inputs and Bluetooth. Both channels are equipped with a supple fader and are mixed by means of the crossfader. Moreover, you can mix a surprisingly high number of sources: each channel is fit for connecting a device with an ordinary line output, like a CD player or other type of media player. Furthermore, you can connect both channels to a second player and use the switches on top to select the desired source.

CORE Scratch: also fit for external MP3 player and Bluetooth

Channel 1 of the CORE Scratch is compatible with MP3 players, tablets or smartphones. When you connect one of these devices, you set the switch to MP3, so that the mixer automatically adjusts itself to the input level of this type of player and no signal loss occurs. Channel 2, in its turn, lets the DJ send a Bluetooth signal from a smartphone or other Bluetooth-compatible device to the mixer. DAP CORE Scratch DJ Mixer

Ik heb dit product nu een jaar en ik heb de mixer vooral gebruikt in mijn studio-setup. Wat mij direct opviel is de lage kwaliteit van de volume-faders. Ze voelen namelijk zeer goedkoop aan. De crossfader voelt echter degelijker aan. Verder zijn zowat alle draaiknoppen zeer stroef en onaangenaam in gebruik. De aanwezigheid van bluetooth is dan weer een groot pluspunt. Dit is zeer handig als je gewoon muziek wilt beluisteren via je telefoon. Ik raad deze mixer enkel aan voor gebruik in een studio (bv tussen je laptop en je speakers) of in een andere omgeving waar je hem gewoon kan aansluiten en vergeten. Voor intensief gebruik raad ik deze mixer ten strengste af. Hij voelt niet degelijk aan en is daarom ook niet fijn in gebruik.
