Ever since the 1970s, the Special 20 Classic has been a hugely popular harmonica. Hohner has managed to provide this harmonica with the perfect sound combined with a nice and sleek appearance. This combination is very popular among professionals, but the Special 20 Classic is also a fine harmonica for the beginning harmonica player.

The Special 20 Classic in G
This example from the Special 20 Classic series is tuned in the key of G. This makes this harmonica suitable for playing along with music in the key of D. The Special 20 Classic was the one of the first airtight harmonicas. The airtight plastic comb thus ensures that the reeds only vibrate when you blow or suck air through the harmonica. As a result, the reeds will immediately produce their tone when you play the harmonica . Fast tones and rich chords are features of the Special 20 Classic. You can beautifully recreate the real blues sound by inflecting tones.
