Yamaha APX T2 NT Electro-Acoustic Travel Guitar (Natural)

Ik heb de APX T2 gekocht om mezelf in open lucht te begeleiden bij het zingen. Bij het tokkelen (fingerpicking) is het volume zacht, en in dit geval is een 10 W versterkertje meer dan sterk genoeg, of je moet een stuk sterker plukken aan de snaren. Voor het strummen heb ik geen plectrum nodig, met de vingernagels klinkt dit meer dan sterk genoeg.
Bij het spelen zonder versterking is de klank verrassend goed voor het kleine formaat. Het A.R.T.-element levert een mooie versterkt klank op, zonder de typische 'geknepen' klank van piëzo-elementen.
Klinkt de APX T23 als een dreadnought? Natuurlijk niet, maar ik weet dat het zeker mijn publiek zal weten te charmeren. Slotsom: dit is een schitterend instrument dat zoals andere yamaha instrumenten iedere euro die je ervoor betaalt dubbel en dik waard is.
