Thanks to popular demand, Electro Harmonix have ditched the cumbersome-block housing and  reissued this classic pedal in a more compact stompbox so it can be squeezed onto that last little bit of space on your pedalbaord with ease. Of course, it still offers a unique sound with that devastating low end.

Compared to American Muff effects, the Russian version has a touch less gain but packs a gigantic low end with relatively soft higher tones. This means that bassists as well as guitarists can enjoy a Green Russian Big Muff without loosing any low end.
