Throwing things all the way back to the Middle Age, the Teenage Engineering EP-1320 isn't just any groovebox - this is the Medieval groovebox. Harnessing 'instrumentalis electronicum', this is one for the knights and knaves among us. Including unique instruments from way back then, this widget houses hundreds of sounds fit for creating melodies worthy of Merlin himself as well as weird and wonderful Medieval beats. But, don't be fooled, the EP-1320 Medieval isn't just about one-shot samples.
This groovebox doesn't just supply samples of Medieval-era instruments, but makes them playable. So with this model, you can pick up the hurdy-gurdy, the lute, some thundering drums, or even conduct a Gregorian choir. All of the sounds in the library can be controlled via the fitted bank of calculator-style dynamic pads, or a MIDI keyboard can be hooked up. If you need backing tracks, simply activate 'Demus' mode and enjoy nine Middle Age bangers before selecting matching instrument divided over four different banks. Add on the punch-in FX and you'll really rock the tourney and the tavern!
