The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::
Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box
New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

The next step up from the HS50M, the Yamaha HS5 monitor has a slightly larger housing and boasts improved speaker performance, while the 70 Watt output capacity provides plenty of headroom in smaller spaces. Don't let the trimmed-down footprint and light weight fool you though, this monitor is capable of delivering uncoloured sound backed up by an ultra-flat frequency response.
Like any decent monitor, the HS5 features a bi-amped configuration, where the bass and trebles are amplified separately. 45 Watts are sent to the woofer and 25 Watts to the compression driver, amounting to a total output of 70 Watts to result in plenty of headroom for clear, accessible mixing. And, as a sweet bonus, Room Control and High Trim functions efficiently adapt the HS5 to match your workspace.
