Yamaha HPH-MT8: ultra-smooth audio

This set of MT8 headphones is equipped with neodymium drivers die that deliver refined, precise audio thanks to the 45mm CCAW voice coils. They boast a frequency range of van 15 Hz and 28 kHz and a balanced, ultra-high resolution that any professional can appreciate. The isolating design ensures that external noise is effectively eliminated and the leather ear pads absorb unwanted vibrations and are comfortable to wear as well. They come with a 1.2m-long detachable coiled cable and a 3m-long straight cable. A gilded jack adapter is also included so you connect these headphones to any audio device right away.

Wrote the following about Yamaha HPH-MT8 studio headphones

Je suis déjà possesseur d'un Yamaha HPH 200, supposé être une référence, mais qui étant totalement ouvert, limite son utilisation dans le calme.

Pour la faire courte, j'avais besoin d'un nouveau casque permettant à la fois de : travailler, être (relativement) isolé, rester confortable durant plusieurs heures et bien sûr, disposer d'un de qualité.

Après 1 mois d'utilisation, voici ce que je peux dire brièvement de mon HPH-MT8 : Son = top - Confort = top - Qualité de construction = top - Isolation = correcte.

Donc je recommande chaudement

Een prettige hoofdtelefoon met een neutraal geluid welke het omgevingsgeluid goed weet af te schermen.
Enige nadeel persoonlijk vind ik de iets te zachte oorkussentjes, daardoor kan het membraan op de oorschelp gaan rusten en dat is niet zo comfortabel en het er te dicht opzichten doet afbreuk aan de geluidskwaliteit, vandaar 4 sterren.

Wrote the following about Yamaha HPH-MT8 studio headphones

Hoofdtelefoon doet wat het moet doen; het geeft de geluiden gedetailleerd en neutraal weer. Ik heb deze als aanvulling op mijn yamaha hs7 (waar ik geen subwoofer bij heb). De hoofdtelefoon geeft de lage frequenties goed weer, waardoor ik daar rekening mee kan houden bij het afmixen.
Het verschil tussen mijn monitoren en hoofdtelefoon is groter dan dat ik aanvankelijk had gedacht (in het voordeel van de hoofdtelefoon).

Het draagcomfort is goed. De hoofdtelefoon kan, zonder er last van te krijgen, voor langere tijd gedragen worden. Daarbij voelt hij stevig aan, door de robuuste bouw.

Geluiden van buiten worden redelijk goed buiten gehouden, waardoor hij ook op drukkere plekken gebruikt kan worden.

enige nadeel is dat hij niet gemaakt is om lekker naar muziek te luisteren, als er een fout in de mix zit is dat snel te horen (wat weer een groot voordeel is bij het maken van eigen producties).
