The Sennheiser HD 400 Pro open studio headphones deliver the honest and neutral sound needed to support professional mixing, editing, and mastering. Superb audio is reproduced by a pair of upgraded 120 Ohm transducers equipped with a specially developed polymer-mix diaphragm while the open construction breathes air into the sound, revealing every minute detail. This has been teamed up with a driver-damper combo to ensure deeper basses with reduced harmonic distortion and results in a clear, even more balanced sound. The flowing design of these headphones is also striking, and bear robust, Sennheiser-grade build quality finished with luxuriously soft velour-coated ear cushions. De Sennheiser HD 400 Pro is een fijne neutrale open koptelefoon voor masteren en mixen, voor erg weinig geld. Goede pasvorm ook over de oren, en comfortabel ook bij langduriger gebruik. Fijn om er bij te hebben.

Na een lange periode was het tijd om mijn Sony MDR-1 te gaan vervangen. Ik mix wel eens wat thuis, maar weet dat een koptelefoon niet de beste optie is. Sowieso het gesloten model niet, al vind de vrouw daar iets anders van ;-)
Dus laatste remix mee waarvan ik wist wat de goede en slechte punten waren en alle koptelefoons die er waren in de prijsklasse 180 tot 400 euro luisteren in Rotterdam.
Tot mijn verbazing was een model van 600 euro niet eens in staat een natuurgetrouw beeld te geven en kwam ik verrassend uit op een Sennheiser HD 400 Pro

Très bon casque me donne entière satisfaction
Le son est bien détaillé aussi bien dans les
basses que dans les aigus,une bonne image stéréo bien pour le mixage

Ik zocht een goede koptelefoon voor mixing / mastering.
Met de Sennheiser HD 400 Pro heb ik die gevonden!
Doordat het een open model is, heb je een prachtige brede soundstage.

Het laag is strak en vol zonder overdreven nadruk.
Ook het midden en het hoog komen mooi neutraal over.

Door het lichte gewicht merk je bijna niet dat je hem op hebt.

Kortom: als monitors geen optie zijn (akoestiek, huisgenoten, buren), kom je met deze koptelefoon een heel eind.

De prijs is hij dubbel en dwars waard!
